I don't know what's wrong...

Quick to anger, frustration, difficulty concentrating. Brain going a mile a minute, feeling emotionally drained. Hopelessness. Wanting to isolate. Forgetting things. Lower Productivity. It feels like a rut, like you are just stuck. 

What the heck is happening?

You may be experiencing burn-out, which is the result of not taking care of yourself. There are a variety of definitions out there (& we will talk about it more on the blog), but here's what's important: If you are doing more for everyone & everything in your life & nothing for yourself, you may be burned out.

You probably have heard of burnout before. Don't think it applies to you? Research has found that "professions that deal with people & professions that have the potential for profound impact on clients tend to be more stressful than other occupations."

I mean, yes, I’d love to be great at my job, be the perfect wife, mom to my dog-children, be there for my friends and loved ones ALWAYS… but that’s not life. Most days, I am great at all of these things, and sometimes I suck. I’m allowing myself a little wiggle-room here. Wiggle-room is good.
